Patients often say that the care at CHI Memorial “just feels different.” While every experience is unique, there are three important areas where our program stands out.
Unlike many hospitals, CHI Memorial has a dedicated GI/Colorectal team. This group includes nationally recognized surgeons, oncologists and medical specialists, as well as dedicated nurses with specialized training in helping patients with gastrointestinal and colorectal cancer. In addition, every patient has access to a trained nurse navigator who is available to help you with all aspects of your cancer journey.
When you have cancer, you want the best care you can find. At CHI Memorial, that means going beyond clinical excellence. Here, you are always seen as a person first. Our entire staff is invested in your wellbeing, from treating your cancer, to nurturing your soul, to supporting your relationships. We are here for you.
The affects of cancer ripple throughout our lives. That’s why CHI Memorial created the Center for Cancer Support. Patients and their family members are invited to use the Center’s resources free of charge. From counseling and support groups, to dietary advice, to help with navigating insurance plans, practical help is available as you and your loved ones confront the challenges of cancer.
